Dani

Dani is a friend of mine who blogs over at a A Vapor in the Wind. We had the opportunity to go on a mini road trip together over my spring break. It was a phenomenal time, and naturally lots of photos were taken.

Dani has a spontaneous spirit and rolled with changes in our plans with grace and ease. We ended up stopping off at a random side road and taking more photos (see above three photos) but spent a majority of time at the Gloss Mountains, another unplanned stop. Lunch was had at Little Sahara, located in the NW portion of Oklahoma. It had been our original goal to take photos there, but those plans had been foiled by the lack of any footpaths through the sand dunes. (Buggy Racers were on the main sand dunes.)  Still, a splendid time was had and plenty of food was eaten. (Cheese and crackers, anyone?) In the end, an entirely worthwhile venture with a fantastic friend.

Payton [spontaneous session : Oklahoma]

I have been working on a collection of  photos of downtown areas in Oklahoma as one of my personal projects. I hadn't yet been to Norman, and when Payton mentioned frequenting the area, we made plans to meet up. (We'd been instagram friends for a few months.) After a stop at Syrup, we headed around the downtown to take photographs. It turned into a spontaneous session for the both of us, which was a lot of fun. Payton is a kind-hearted and patient person - spreading cheer and warmth with her easy-going attitude and uplifting spirit. She's adventurous too - ducking into alleyways and climbing on windowsills for the sake of a good photo. Thanks for the good times, Payton!

Leslie [the mini sessions : Oklahoma]

The day Leslie and I met up for photographs was a chilly winter day, but despite that, Leslie braved the day with laughter and life. No matter what the circumstances, I always see Leslie with a smile on her face. It was a delight to photograph her!
